Presenter: Bart Cothran, CDT
Bart Cothran, CDT is a seasoned laboratory professional with 48 years of experience as a dental technician and 28 years spent as a dedicated small lab owner. Bart is widely regarded by his peers as a high-end ceramist. Bart is a Key Opinion Leader for Jensen Dental for whom he serves as a MiYO® educator and Dentsply Sirona with an emphasis on zirconia products.
He is a member of the NADL and has served on the board of the Flordia Dental Laboratory Association. Bart attended Florida Technological University (UCF) where he studied chemistry in the college of Natural Science. Bart is currently employed at Winter Springs Dental Laboratory in Longwood Florida and maintains a full schedule of MiYO® training as well.

The aim of this course is to instruct dentists and their teams in advanced monolithic finishing techniques, enhancing the quality of their in-house milled restorations. Under the expert guidance of Bart Cothran, CDT and Master Ceramist, participants will learn sophisticated contouring and staining methods, equipping them with the confidence to tackle complex restorations, such as single-unit anterior or hybrid cases, within their own practice.
Develop a cosmetic eye and learn how to replicate nature by adding texture and depth to both lithium disilicate and zirconia restorations. Skills will be honed through 2 days of hands-on exercises and demonstrations to cultivate the confidence required for immediate implementation in your practice.
